The blessing last evening to be foolish and believe that the light can overcome the dark seems so right. I guess i am not used to being told to be both angry and foolish, But it is a good way to begin this new year.
What a beautiful song and video, Elizabeth! I like the way you linked the Solstice with its promise of the coming spring with the Annunciation and it's promise of a coming Savior. I also really liked reading of your childhood experience of Catholicism and the story of offering Martin Luther as an example of a great Christian to a Catholic Sunday school class! Was it taught by a nun? Either way, is like to know what the teacher said in response, if you remember.
